HANGERS, BALL-HEAD SCREWS AND TURNBUCKLES

Hangers, ball-head screws, turnbuckle bodies and turnbuckle eyes are subject to fatigue. It is recommended they are replaced every 5 years, in compliance with industry standards.

ELEMENT C6 CABLES AND END FITTINGS

The oldest EC6 cables have been in continuous use for 5 years. Given the science and testing with EC6 rigging, we expect the service date to be much longer.

The stress levels in the cables and end fittings indicate a lifespan well in excess of rod rigging.

Additionally, destruction testing of individual cables can be performed to verify the ultimate strength.
